shoes art installation

There's something unexplainable between a woman and shoes but using 600 yarn to tie 600 shoes is absolutely different thing at all. By Japanese artist Chiharu Shiota with her work entitled "Breath of The Spirit".

The installation comprised of 600 shoes from people who no longer wanted them, and each shoe is individually tied by a strand of red yarn to one single point atop a building. She’s known for her offbeat installations, and this one is no different, with shoes that appear to be walking down toward you all on their own.
