Valentin Vodev's pictograms engraved on glassware are a fun new way of incorporating playful instructions.
Instead of adding to the Lobmeyr glassware assortment with a new product, Vodev developed a system of symbols and pictograms capable of communicating the added value of Lobmeyr Glass. Engraved on existing glasses, the pictograms supply information - sometimes appearing as a sober set of instructions for use, as an ironic statement, or simply as sheer visual appeal.
Vodev's collaboration with J. &. L. Lobmeyr was part of Passionswege during Vienna Design Week 2012.
