Designer Vidó Nóri removes all porcelain from the table and serves lunch on almost indestructible plates, in geometric shapes that resemble tangrams or origami. Vidó’s collection "Concrete Tableware" is not just an exercise in style with which to enhance the presentation of various meals. Sure, on an aesthetic level a cold and coarse material like concrete is in strong contrast with warm and colorful courses of food, in a sensual game of tones, textures and temperatures.
