sucabaruca

Blending Scandinavian and Italian coffee cultures, the set reflects the designer’s love for both Stockholm and Venice. The set includes a filtered coffee maker, a trio of cups, and a tray.

The cone shape of the coffee maker references Carmencita, a character on Armando Testa’s Italian TV show Carosello. The ceramic coffee maker is etched with long lines which add to its handcrafted look. Also ceramic, the cups bear a checkered pattern etched into their clay. Soon to be available in three color palettes, Sucabaruca draws inspiration from across the art world. The all-white set echoes fashion designer Martin Margiela, the pastel version nods to Japanese architecture, and the pop colors take after graphic designer Jean-Paul Goude.
