What deemed as a flaw to others would in turn becomes the beauty and focal point of this series of vases. By Taiwanese designer Jacky Wu.

It all started after the discovery, by the Taiwanese designer Jacky Wu, of some pieces of timber in a factory. Material considered useless and unusable because of cracks that covered the wood, caused by the drying process. Fissures that immediately impressed and intrigued the designer who, through a process of transformation, has changed those that for other were only defects, in unique details able to give life to an artistic pattern that characterizes “Crack”, the line of vessels and containers presented at Salone Satellite in Milan. Two completely different materials are melted, and a vibrant color tone highlights the soul of the wood, the true essence of nature.
