colour wood

Totally falling in love with this collection of tables named 'Colour Wood'. Its exceptional design researches handicraft tradition as if it was a characteristic of the thin made wood.

The symbolic overlapping of the contemporaneous conception as well as the traditional values and techniques is explained by the exposition in different, transparent steps: the texture of the wood, the colour spots as well as the printed graphic patterns.

The latest addition to the collection is a dining table in the same genre sans colour.

Designed by Scholten & Baijings Studio and produced by Karimoku New Standard Japan.
