50 Den: A Chair Made From Recycled Tights

Product design student created 50 DEN, a project that found a sustainable way to transform some old clothing, in this case recycled sheer tights, into a long-lasting product that the user can enjoy over time.

By weaving the familiar everyday material and using it as the seat and back support of the chair, it’s now see in an entirely new context and no longer a disposable commodity.
